SVVEA is aware of the issue of steps currently being frozen as a result of the bargaining process.
We also understand the enourmous financial strain this has placed on staff.
SVVEA’s postion is it is a violation of Art. 32 and Appendix A 1.1 of the Master Agreement and we intend to defend it.
Fran and Jerri, how did the meeting with HR go?? What did they say? When will this be fixed? What is the district’s stance on this issue? We need to bring bags of ice to the next board meeting and let them know how that this has been noticed by Association members and nonmembers alike and it is not okay.

When we finally get this money, will the district be paying us interest on it? Surely they’re earning interest on that money right now.
